Teacher Lunch and Learn
Be Encouraged and Equipped at School
Gateways’ Teacher Lunch & Learn is a simple way for a teacher to go through our self-paced online module, “Faith, Freedom & Public Schools: Addressing the Bible and Christianity without Mixing Church and State.”
We provide this at no cost to a classroom teacher. This practical training is divided into 20 short sessions, each lasting just 5 to 15 minutes, making it easy to fit into your summer schedule. Whether you're relaxing at home, preparing lesson plans, or looking for professional growth opportunities, you can work through the material at your own pace. The topics explain that teaching about Christianity is legally supported, academically expected, culturally accurate, and morally important. The sessions also include practical implementation strategies, understanding students’ and teachers’ religious liberties, teaching about religious holidays, and cultivating character in students.
There is no cost to use the online modules.
“Learning what I am allowed to do really made things much clearer for me. Knowing that I can teach about Christianity has also given me inspiration to include the importance of Christian thought in the history we study.”
