8/4/25 - Responding to The Master
Psalm 123:2 says, “as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God.”
When the master in Psalm 123:2 gestures a command to his servant, that servant better be prepared to act. Likewise, if you are praying for an improvement in some aspect of your school, or for a way to teach your children discernment regarding something they are learning at school, you need to prepare now for when the Master gestures for you to act.
God wants you to participate in his activity in your schools this year. Are you ready?

8/5/25 - Beautiful Feet
Are your feet beautiful? In Romans 10:15, Paul writes that people’s feet are beautiful when they are walking with God and “on mission” with Him. You are bringing “glad tidings of good things!” by joining God to “set the captives free.”
There are educators in your schools who won’t teach about how the Bible and Christianity relates to their academic subjects because they are captives of fear. You have the good news of the Gospel and you also have the good news of academic freedom to share with people in your schools. God is looking for those who want to move with him.
You can give them information that will set them free to teach with courage. Get your shoes on and go! For help, visit our HOME PAGE.
8/6/25 - Relational Activism
This school year, there may be times you’ll need to talk to a teacher or a school administrator because something in the classroom might not be so faith friendly. When that happens, it is easy to think about “political” or “legal” action.
For years, public school involvement for Christians has been defined as confrontation, petitions, and protests. There is a time and place for politics and legal action. But if we are going to have lasting cultural impact we need to think differently. I like to think of it as “relational activism”—that is, being intentional about your positive influence on those within your spheres of activity at school.
You can be a gateway to better education at your school and we will show you how. For more information on addressing a concern with an educator read HERE.
8/7/25 - Helping a Wounded Teacher
The story of the Good Samaritan can apply to you in your public school. Like the man in the story who was attacked by robbers, there are educators who, at some point in their lives, have been attacked for daring to teach about a Christian holiday or explain a story in the Bible as it relates to their academic subject.
Maybe they have been emotionally “beaten down” by an administrator, a colleague, or an angry parent.
Like the man on the road to Jericho, they’ve been stripped of what belonged to them—the academic freedom to teach about the Bible and Christianity. They’ve been robbed of the truth that they can do it. They are Christian teachers, but they are discouraged and defeated.
But like the Good Samaritan, you can minister to them and get them back on their feet. You can be a gateway to better education for them. We have many resources for you and them. Check out THIS ARTICLE.
8/8/25 - Join God in His Activity
Prayer is so important that even Jesus prayed regularly. Think about that. He is fully God and fully human but spoke with his Heavenly Father regularly in prayer.
When you pray do you just treat God like a genie hoping he will grant your wish and make your life easier? Speaking from his humanity in John 5:19 Jesus said, “the Son can do nothing himself, but what he sees the Father do.”
Here’s an idea next time you pray: Ask God a question. For example, if you have children in public schools, ask God how you can be a blessing to your children’s teachers. Ask, “What are you doing in her life, and how can I be a part of what You are doing?”
